After writing the article THE MEANING OF LIFE – A SHORT STORY, a sudden idea hit my brain.
If, I could not reach my goal… YET… at least I will write and offer some FREE advice for the readers who want to maintain a perfect eyesight, or need to treat and heal several eye problems.
If your meaning of life is not to freeze the men who knock on your door (see the article mentioned above) by using your eyeglasses, you can apply the following tips to better your eyesight:
-
Cranberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) are fruits that you should eat as much as you can. It is said that during World War II, for a period of time the British pilots were given some delicious cranberry jam to eat. They noticed that their night vision had improved so much that they started having a huge advantage on their night missions. Being intrigued by these declarations, some researchers started to study the cranberry’s effects, and they discovered that they contained bioflavonoids, which are composed of antioxidants. But this action is more preventive than curative. The cranberries help to heal weak eyesight only if the cause for the weakness was a pigment deficiency that the eyes need.
-
Ginkgo (Ginkgo Biloba) is a plant that scientists have studied a lot. It has very good results when retinal deterioration is present. It is a good fighter against free radicals and increases the blood flux and the nutritive substances in the retina.
-
Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is the best remedy for ocular tension and eye relaxation.
-
Eye-bright Silur (Euphrasia officinalis) is a plant that offers great results when we need to cure conjunctivitis (pink eye). Prepare an infusion from 1 teaspoon of Silur in 1 cup of boiled water. Wash your eyelids with this infusion and don’t be afraid if some of it will enter your eyes. This remedy is very good for conjunctivitis, weak eyesight, foggy eyesight and ocular inflammation.
-
Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) has antibacterial effects that provide powerful remedies for any ocular irritation. Conjunctivitis and eyesore are treated with the healing powers of this plant.
-
Soak made from honey, lemons and carrots.
Ingredients:-
28 oz (0.8 kg) honey
-
28 oz (0.8 kg) grated carrots (don’t peel it but rather wash it carefully using a brush)
-
35 oz (1.0 kg) lemons (chopped in very small pieces, keeping the shell also)
Mix the ingredients together and let them soak for 20 days, and then after this take a teaspoon three times a day before your main meals.
-
-
Each day, drink one glass of juice prepared from carrots in which we add a teaspoon of olive oil or sunflower oil. The juice must be consumed each morning on an empty stomach. Other variants of juices can be prepared that influence our eyesight in a positive way as combinations of:
-
Carrots, spinach and beetroots
-
Carrots, beetroots and cucumbers

Aloha MC,
This is an excellent post. AS I get older my eyes have started to get lazier and lazier which confuses me to no end.
I exercize them every day. I must be missing something and it could be the correct nutrients.
My wife and I juice everyday so I will be experimenting with the things you pointed out in your post.
Since this is an ongoing series I’ll have to come back and visit more.
I do have one questions… how did you get the pop up subscription on you page?
Great Job… Keep It Up!
Thank you for your comment, Tod. It is highly appreciated. The second part is already posted, so you can check the next seven tips.
For the technical question, I will ask my webmaster to explain to you the details. I would never find time to write if I would handle myself all these blogging procedures :-))))
Oh… I forgot to ask, Tod 🙂
How I can find your website to visit it?
Hello Tod, to answer your question on the pop-up subscription, it is named ‘Scroll Triggered Boxes’ plugin for WordPress which you can find and download here https://wordpress.org/plugins/scroll-triggered-boxes/
If I can help with anything else, please let me know. 🙂
