A man comes back to life from a very profound coma state. Ever since the time he went into a coma, his wife was near his bedside. Several days after waking up, he told his wife:
“My darling, you were near me no matter of the misfortune I’ve had to cross. When I was fired, you supported me; when my business went broke, you were there for me; when I was shot, you remained here; when we lost our house, you didn’t run away; when my health was ruined, you again unconditionally supported me. Do you know something?”
“What is it, my love?” asked the wife while on her face a beautiful smile arose and her heart starting to beat faster.
“I think you bring me bad luck.”
“Actually,” the woman said, “I’ve been trying to get rid of you for some time now. I started by sleeping with your boss and got you fired. When you didn’t leave, I had him sabotage your business. When that didn’t work, I tried to have you assassinated by having you shot. When you lived through that, I poisoned you. Now that you are awake, I want to see the look in your eyes as I put this pillow over your face and suffocate you.”
hahaha… nice twist! Thanks for the add, Stephen.
Everything is indeed a matter of perception. Very profound. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, too, Genevieve! 🙂
How profound.
This seems like ground for the implementation of a required course on perception prior to being able to engage in the act that may lead to conception…….MARRIAGE!!!
Hmmmm? Should there be a PERCEPTION CLAUSE in marriage that states if one party is unwilling to step over and see through the other parties eyes then this is grounds for dissolving the relationship.
This is a very interesting idea, Lee 🙂 I never thought about a “perception clause” until now. But sounds… so necessary in our world! Thanks for the comment.
